LAS VEGAS, NV - Effective Event Management wins Best Corporate Event (budget under $25,000US) at the Western Regional Event Industry Awards. The Westie Awards acknowledge event industry professionals in the International Special Event Society's Western Region, which consists of the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and Denver. Event professionals are recognized for their achievements in a variety of disciplines. This year, the prestigious gala was held on October 13 at Image Studios in Las Vegas.
Eileen Bistrisky, CSEP and her team at Effective Event Management were delighted with their win and the recognition they received for their work on Sun-Rype's "Thrive to Survive", a Survivor-themed week-long event which was part of Sun-Rype's National Sales and Marketing Meeting.
The Sun-Rype event was a real team effort. Allison Ishida and Rashpal Bains from Effective Events were on hand to join Eileen in accepting the award. Wendy Falkowski from Marquee Events, who played a key role in co-ordinating the Kelowna logistics of the event, was there in spirit, as were the wonderful Sales and Marketing teams from Sun-Rype who were an absolute joy to work with. All parties involved were thanked at the ceremony.
A second Vancouver win at the Westies went to Joan Probert of Eventful Consulting Group for Best Social Event (budget under $25,000US). Eileen and the Effective Event Management team were please to be one of two Canadians to take home trophies.
