Sporting Events Effective Events' initial roots were in sporting events. We started off with such contracts as University Hospital Foundation's Pacific Spirit Run and The ITU Triathlon World Cup in Whistler. Effective Events developed a solid background in everything from course development to promotions, from volunteers to equipment, and from sponsorship to media. We became very adept at handling all the logistical details of a sporting event such as registration, prizes, awards, food, and souvenirs. We established a track record for taking suffering events, and dramatically increasing participant numbers and event revenue. CEIA Awards We have won Best Sporting Event three times at the Canadian Event Industry Awards. We Have Staged:
