The Vancouver Canucks hosted the 4th Annual Canucks Fan Run at the University of British Columbia. Athletes of all levels were invited to challenge themselves to meet their personal goals in the 10K Run of 2K Family Fun Run event. Participants were encouraged to raise pledges to support the Canucks for Kids Fund. The Kids Fund dedicates its resources to assist charities who support children’s health and wellness, foster the development of grassroots hockey, and facilitate and encourage education in British Columbia. This year, a team division was introduced and the team that raised the most money won a suite night at General Motors Place. |
